Relationships are built through consistent, respectful, genuine communication.

It takes a village to educate a child. To help facilitate this community, I establish a line of open, honest conversation.I send out weekly emails to every family, host my classroom website, send home regular celebratory notes, and make phone calls when appropriate. I attend all school functions and happily welcome family members as experts in my classroom. I provide many opportunities to involve families in their student’s learning adventure, and accept suggestions and feedback as offered. I enjoy working collaboratively with other teachers, creating enrichment opportunities for students, and making use of the school’s wealth of knowledge.
