Respectful relationships with students and their families allows me to create a strong team with the same goal in mind. The student knows they are seen, heard, and valued by the teacher and their peers. This ensures a safe learning environment where students are encouraged to be curious, make mistakes, and lead their academic journey. These relationships often last for years beyond the time a student is in my classroom.
