My love of reading is displayed throughout the classroom. I have an extensive library with books of every genre, for every reading level, offering windows and mirrors to all students. I read aloud to the class and provide daily opportunities to read independently for pleasure. I have an extensive background in phonics and am well versed in the science of reading. I integrate reading and writing into all curriculum areas. I love theater and poetry and provide students with experiences in both. I have worked with several curriculums and have designed enrichment for many novel studies.
